As a graduation present, my daughter would like a HP laptop: the dv7t with 4 GB ram, a docking station and 64 bit Vista. I have done a bit of Googling, but would be interested in the thoughts of Foo as to the best price available.

Hope that helps in some way.
I've found some good deals when hitting Best Buy, Frys, and Costco. Might try that, see if they have that for a good price.

See if her school is listed under the academic purchase program. I don't remember the exact savings, but I believe you can get around 10% off. Also, search for HP coupons and use the best one. There should be one for 30 off, and maybe some that have a specific percentage off.
Edit: I'm talking online. I suggest just ordering it that way - typically cheaper and you can customize it.
