Hey just bought a new bike and now within the last week a sort of scraping and grinding can be heard from my cranks. I can also feel the vibriations in my feet. Also when you chuck the crank in reverse you can see the chain wheels wobble, they are not bent but still wobble. Any idea what this could be?

Sounds like it's a warrantee repair for the LBS where you got the bike. Take it back to them and let them deal with it.
