Hey,
I have a pair of Phil Wood Track Hubs (not flip-flop) Brand new, never been laced up... What rims do you guys suggest. I'm leaning toward Velocity Deep V's (Price/look/performance).

If I don't lace em up soon I'm gonna sell em...

Discuss...

Open Pros. Have a reputable mechanic build them up for you and they'll last forever. Phil to Deep V's are tanks, been done to death and at that point you might as well go with Ellipses instead.

Wait until those B43 rims come out and lace to those. Green front/black rear? It'll go great with those colored tires! :D

I really like Mavic, I have some of their ceramic rims laced to my road bike. Even though the Open Pros are well priced, I've heard some "bad" things about them... You have a set? What do you think?

Any others?

Mine have been holding up nicely. I built the front myself and it's needed very little truing since the initial 100 mile touch up. The rear's been taking my **** nicely too.

I don't think you should use Deep V and performance in the same thought. Take a look at the velocity aeroheads. Much lighter and also available in all the trendy colorways.
