I'm getting ready for my first trip with my Bike Friday. When I went to my authorized dealer, they didn't have the rear rack for my bike, so they called Bike Friday. As it turns out, Bike Friday has been backordered for about two months now for that rack. They said the rack wouldn't be available to ship until July!
I'm wondering if there's an alternative to this Bike Friday rack. It would be extra good if I could find a sturdy rear rack that folds flat. And I would need this rack within the next 10 days in order to go through some dry runs.
I have the 20" wheels on the Pocket Rocket, if that gives anyone an idea of what I'm talking about. My dealer didn't know offhand if there was a rack out there that would work for me. I'm feeling a bit loathe to just buy one without knowing first if it will work.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
