Cyclocross - Fulcrum 7 wheelset for CX racing/training?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm on the fence on purchasing a new pair of Fulcrum 7's for some road miles and then CX races in the Fall. I weigh about 190# so i can't afford to be too much of a weight weenie, nor would i be racing anything more advanced than B-Mens.
Obviously the wheels will hold for road riding but am curious if anyone has any experience with taking them off road.

Never used them myself. I have used Campy Chorus and Daytona hubs. I'm using Zonda's now. They all work perfect. My Chorus are actually 1995 8 sp converted to 9/10 sp. They're 14 years old and still perfect. Try this review of the 7's http://www.roadbikereview.com/cat/wheels/wheelsets/fulcrum/PRD_411221_2490crx.aspx
