Can anyone tell me if the 2000 Marin steel bikes have threaded or threadless forks??? I have a Pine Mountain 2000.

Thanks.

Specs on the 2000 model:

This bike is threadless and yours should be also (assuming it is the same model and none of the parts have been changed). Nearly all good MTBs have been threadless for many years and Marin would be no exception.

Emma:

Threaded or threadless depends on the fork not the frame. Your fork is 1 and 1/8th inch threadless. For now that is the industry standard.
