My SO has been making up some very nice road riding maps for the Grand Junction, CO area. Find them at this site: http://tomorrowhillfarm.com/JohnHodgebicycleMaps.html

They are PDFs so they can be downloaded.

Very nice maps. Well done!

Except for the new bike trails, I have ridden all of those
routes in the valley, as Tour the Valley century rides, years ago.
Too bad that doesn't happen anymore.

Grand Junction is a beautiful place to ride.

I think Tour of the Valley will be resurrected, if not this year, then next.

:thumb:These maps should encourage new riders to bicycle more. Experienced riders will appreciate the detail and find more route options. Good work.

What info do you have that TtV will be resurrected???

The years that I did it, the ride was based out of the GJ Hilton.
I would take Monday off, so I could laze around the pool,
Sunday night after everyone left, after the ride.
Had my best time ever for a century, 5:04'.
Got blasted in the Monument coming over Black Mesa by
a thunder storm one year. Water was a couple of inches
running across the road. Zeus himself was throwing the
lighten bolts down on me.

Hard to beat watching the sun go down over the Monument,
sipping a Long Island,
after completing a century through the Grandest of Valleys.

Hey, those are some nice maps, thanks! I've been living out in Fruita for a few years now and have yet to explore many of the junction rides. Really well done!
