Hey guys. My dad recently completed my Bianchi Strada LX fixie and I've been looking for people to ride around with. I love it and it's a great bike, but I don't know anyone who rides fixed! I have been unsuccessful lately so I decided to join the forums and try my luck here. I'm not looking for long rides, I just to go and have fun. I live in La Habra. If you're located somewhere around there, hit me up!

If you care to work your way to Long Beach...:p

(also try lafixed.com, there are some rides in your area)

One of my good friends lives down there. It would be a ride all in itself to get there xD
Is lafixed just big rides? I'm looking to meet some people and ride with them often, not just a one-ride thing.

You should check Midnight Ridazz page, there is a ride in Rowland Heights every couple of weeks.
There are tons of fixie rides in LA they are usually late in the evening though.

Hi iamtimsson,

I live in South Whittier, which is fairly close to La Habra (well, part of it anyway). I ride fixed ('75 MASI), quite often on the Coyote Creek MUP (access off Foster . . . which is off Valley View), which is a 15 mile ride down to Seal Beach (becomes the San Gabrial MUP after the bridge).

This Sat. morn. (April 18th) I am riding fixed on the Santa Ana River Trail (SART) MUP (Multiple Use Path) starting at 8:00 AM from Yorba Linda Regional Park. We're going down to Huntington Beach and back, then going further inland (not on MUPs) to Tom's Farms in Corona. You are welcome to join us.

I ride 42 x 15, so about 75" gear for your reference.

Doing SART myself Saturday. Might not get down to Yorba Linda Park by 8 but you never know. May see you going down or coming back. We plan on going to NewPort for lunch.

Most of the ppl attending Costa Mesa's Critical mass are teens or young adults riding fixed, I am sure you can easily make some friends there ;)

ocfixed.com has a few members in your area. The Cerritos Thursday (?) night ride isn't too far from you (South & Gridley).
