Hey, all!

My stomach has been acting kind of wonky these last few days. I've been feeling a slight discomfort that rings close to nausea, but not enough to trigger it. It's a bit hard to describe, but it feels something like feeling between hungry and stuffed at the same time. I haven't changed my diet considerably; the only thing that I can think of that may be responsible for this was either a salad, shrimp or french fries that I ate at UNO Restaurant a few days ago. Either that or the fact that I've started eating Total Cinnamon Crunch (or something like that).

Anyone ever experience this? I know the Internet is not a good medium for medical advice, and I will consult my doctor regarding this issue if it persists, but I thought I'd hear some experiential feedback from others.

Thanks!

A few people have asked about such issues recently. Based on the given information I really can be specific about anything but I will say that maybe some low level detoxification is the cause of your stomach upset. We all store up some sort of toxins in our body in our polluted world and our body shunts it off into our fat stores. If you have been exercising a lot recently and/or losing weight you will be making your body process this body fat which is good except for the added unknown toxic burden which you have to process again. This is good really but you have to put up with some symptoms while it happens.

If you suspect that this MAY fit then try taking some chlorella/spirulina supplements to aid safe detoxification and some milk thistle/dandelion root to help your liver would be advised.

My guess would be ... flu. It's been going around here, and what you describe are typical symptoms of those who have a fairly strong immune system.

My immune system is pretty strong; I hardly ever get sick. I'm unsure if this was the case though, since I didn't get any other symptoms that would suggest flu-like conditions (i.e. cold symptoms). The toxins suggestion also seems viable, though I've been riding (and not that intensely, except for races) pretty much every two days or so.

Either way, everything felt like normal today. Thanks for the suggestions!
