I need a new rear wheel, I have campy hubs, both are shot. What do you guys think of Suzue and Miche? Thanks

If you go for Suzue get a upper level one. I have the basic and it is just that ...basic. I'm saving up for a new and better hub.

Suzue Promax hubs are nice. I don't have any experience with the junior/basic Suzue, but from second hand info, I'd avoid them.
I would avoid both and order a set from IRO. That is if you have a frame spaced at 120. I have had the Miche hubs and they did not last long. The suzue hubs I have only ever heard very bad things.

Veghead, I hope you don't mind me asking on your thread...
Does anyone have anything to say about NYC Bikes hubs? They are supposedly cartridge type and cheaper than Suzue ProMax.

Yeah, I got 120 track frame. IRO. I'll check it out. Is Harris Cyclery the best place to get hubs and wheels?

If you have a 120 spaced frame go for the IRO's. Harris is a great place for them. I wish you could respace them, I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

is there a double fixed iro hub? they look really nice, but i wouldnt want a freewheel side.
Just check out his site. But then again if you just need a rear hub then maybe look at the surly hub. And yes you should order from Harris, I live very near by them and would always recomend a local shop. But I think you may just be able to order them from IRO as well. ANd you could also just order the hubs and have a local shop lace them up.
