What taper would a first generation c-record pista crank use? I'm thinking JIS, since pretty much everything i've read suggests that, but there are a few places that say ISO. Help me clear this up.

if it takes a 111mm spindle, it's almost certainly ISO.

Every square taper campy crank I've ever dealt with was ISO. (Including my C-Record cranks)

JIS stands for Japanese Industrial Standard.

I dont think a proud Italian company would follow Japanese standards. Campagnolo has always been ISO.

As far as i know, campagnolo was JIS and then switched to ISO somewhere around 1993. But sheldon brown doesn't say anything about it on his square taper compatibility page, so why would these sites be saying differently?

the early 70's pista cranks are sooooo sexy!!!
i had to settle for some 1980s mightys though they cost a bit less
