Ever wondered where to get those wicker dog carriers. Look no further. This one comes with a snazzy click-on fitting from those German clip-meisters at Rixen and Kraul.
Im a sucker for dachshunds.

Neat stuff, Michael!

I have seen some really neat reed and bamboo bike baskets in Asia.

One of the coolest is the bamboo child carriers that I see all over Asia from China to Thailand to Indonesia. Of course, you could never sell them in Europe or the USA for fear of liability claims.

The prices shown on the Rixen Kaul site seemed maybe a little high, though. At around 50.00 euro, that is just under US$50.00 for a basket. There are some baskets in the states that are about that much. Langaberger would be even more.

In Asia, a basket like that made of indistructable bamboo with bicycle mountings would cost about $5.00. Of course, the bicycle mountings would be tie-on rather than metal, but it would still work.

Anyway, cool stuff, Michael. Thanks for pointing the site out.
