So people were saying they thought it was an 80's PGN10 or something like that? Anyhow, I still need to get a little rust off the chrome forks. Whats a good method for this? I want to try and sell it. What do you guys think I could get for it if I threw some new tape and cleaned everything up on it? Also new cables and housing all around. I am in Oregon btw.

Mint with no rust $300-400 depending on market.
For rust removal try Naval Jelly or a well soaked and soapy SOS pad. IF you use the SOS pad use very light pressure and make sure is the blue stuff is goopy from the water. Pressing too hard will scratch up the chrome.
If its very very light rust peppering you can try Mothers aluminum polish.

Well the bike is definitely not mint. But it is a pretty good shape I would say. If I do get the rust off and it cleaned up nice do you think $250 would be a good asking price? I just sold a mint '88 Trek 1200 on CL for $300 and a nice '79 World Sport for $160...that should give you a pretty good indicator as to how my market sells. I think $250 is doable.
