The Terminator

I have been starting slowly, and riding every other day. My first few rides this season have almost killed me. Monday was not bad, 15 slow miles with a fast finish, the finish was pretty rough on me. Today I did 15, and it was so, so, easy. It was easy. I found that if I keep at about 13.5 avg, never letting myself get blow 12 mph on the very low grades on the trail, I feel like I can ride forever. I am hitting 18-19 in a few downhill places, but geez, it is getting easier. I like doing 20 miles per day when I am in decent shape, so I think I'll finish the week with 15 daily, and maybe step up to 20 in the next week or two. Hmmm, I wonder is 30 daily or every other day in sight? My primary goal at this time is to get a good fat burn with my ride. I must get a heart monitor in the next week or so, after my new biking shorts come in the mail from Nashbar. http://www.nashbar.com/profile_moreimages.cfm?category=137&subcategory=1208&sku=9615&brand= I was surprised to find that my weight was back to what it was when I gave up riding last fall. (shame on me for that :) ) How is your training routine going for this week?
