Today I decided to ride downtown on my Hardrock loaded up with Specialized FatBoy Tires. Sun was blazing and i think it hit 30 degrees Celcius. I was sweating like mad and I swear my tires were melting into the ground. Turns out I am suffering from minor heatstoke and I was just seeing things.
Thats my story of the day.

Slipped a pedal on Sunday, and got a pedal tattoo. Lookes like I carved the letter "U" and an underlined letter "H" down my left calf.
So, if anyone can come up with a good reason for the initials "UH" on my leg, let me know! The better the story, the more I'll want to tell it.
I was thinking, I should say I'm a fan of University of Hawaii, but I'm not.

I'm afraid you're going to have carve a little more, a2p. How about UH OK, BUHBA or my favorite DUH!

Good suggestions. My favorite was "DUH".
I should post a pic so you can see what I'm talking about!

I have a 7 in scar from when I was 12. My chain skipped, I fell and drove the big ring into the meat of my shin...

That reminds me of a chainring accident I had when I was a kid. Riding down the street on my BMX bike. Reached down to check my chain. Problem with that was that I did not stop pedaling. Next thing I knew had 2 fingers trapped between the chain and chain ring. I ended up eating it pretty bad and fractured my forhead, not to mention the damage done to my poor fingers.

Hah. Konaroast, how many minutes does it take you to get home. Here, it takes me 15 minutes so by the time I get home it's about 3:45. I have time to bike, despite my homework. Maybe you take longer to get home and since the US has better education I expect them to have longer school times.
If you're allowed to ride at night/evening, why not? I wish I was in you're situation. Dang knee is getting worse. Whenever I even attempt to bike on my friend's Specialized Vegas Dirtboy, I always end up dying on my first pedal stroke. That's probably due to the frame, as Konarider24 had said, but still, it really sucks. I've also discovered that my bone is stressed and stretched as well as inflamed. That is totally screwed.
Anyways today ride I accomplished this: Riding for a couple of meters!!

Yep, got a couple of those as well! Got too many scars on the knees too. What else? Oh yeah, the DENTS on the front of the shin where the pedal fllips around and WHAP! Oooohhh that hurt!
Broken most of my fingers racing BMX as a kid (pre-teen). Dislocated each of my shoulders numerous times from not making drops/jumps. Haven't broken my collar bones yet. Learned to always tuck and roll vs. trying to catch myself.
Broken ribs and bruised ribs too many times to mention. Seat up the ole ash! Road rash over top of road rash. (That always feels good - layers of scabs).
