Track Cycling - Fuji Track Comp 09

I am new to track riding (went to several of the training sessions last year). I just bought a Fuji Track Comp. The guy didn't have one in stock so he had to order it for me. I am hoping I did the right thing...

Anyoneo out there have one? Do you like it? Are there things you don't like?

It is hard to find good bike reviews on track bikes so any information about this bike would be much appreciated.

It's the same bike as the Fuji Track Pro was for the past seven or so years. It's probably one of, if not the best, off-the-peg track bikes you can buy. Numerous people have won national championships on it, and I believe a few riders even took them to Worlds.

I owned one and it definitely rode "harsh." When I was riding at the local beat-up "Ghettodrome," I would come back with a killer headache most days, but that could probably be said about ANY aluminum bike, given the track surface. Basically, I loved the bike and I regret selling it on every race day when I feel my steel frame flex in a sprint.

Anyway, it's a great bike and I don't think you'll find anyone with a bad word to say about it.

I was on the fence late last year between a new Track Comp and a bunch of other bikes...really wanted the Comp, but didn't want to wait forever to get on the track. I grabbed a used Track Pro last fall, (pretty much the same bike), and I couldn't be happier. I think you'll be stoked with the Comp. Post some pics when you get it and a ride report.

Probably one of the best bargain track frames out there. Throw some good wheels and cranks on when you're ready/budget allows, and you will probably never have to upgrade after that, other than maybe change the bars out for tt's.
