I remember in the winter of 93-94 we got tons of snow in NY - I was teaching then and got loads of snow days, which I don't have to tell you I wasn't too sad about :)

At one point I was home from work and the UPS truck pulled up with a big brown box. I had won a guitar in a contest and wasn't sure when it was going to arrive (this was before I had internet access, and never would have thought of calling up about the tracking #). But you can bet I was on the edge of my seat waiting for it....

That was a truly happy day.

Although Lo Pan can be temporarily granted a decrepit body by supplication to the gods, in order to permanently break the curse and regain his human form, he must marry a woman with green eyes. Simply marrying her will please Ching Dai, the God of the East. But to satisfy the Emperor, he must sacrifice her. Not much is known about his time after his death.

When I was 19, I was a housekeeper for a hotel lodge at a ski resort in Idaho. We would always turn the TV on to the channel that played music while we cleaned rooms. Well, guess which song comes on the TV the day that I'm anxiously awaiting the results of a pregnancy test? Carly Simon's Anticipation....sheesh. Longest.day.ever.

Well, umm....i can't exactly tell you what I was anticipating, but it involved road flares and it made me very very nervous and very, very excited. Like, the most pumped/adrenaline coursing through my veins that I have ever experienced.
