Didn't see it live.

Recently on a Foo thread it was obvious a lot of us thirtysomethings have a thing for Belinda Carlisle.

Here's her first dance (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_8v8Vo3VAU)

I'm thinking the gown was the disappointment.

Personally I do not have the hots for Belinda Carlisle, but I agree that dress did not do her any justice. She is too pretty for a bland color like that.

Makes her look a little plump. Like the early days of the Go-Gos

Thirtysomething?

+4,......

I was trying to be "inclusive" and representative of the earlier mentioned Foo thread.

Until outed by you.

I seek to bring the truth to light.

The Go-Go's were popular in the early 80's. Any thirtysomethings would have been in elementary school.

I liked there then, I like her now, and while I see what you're saying about the dress, I thought it made her look wonderful. And those were good marks for the first dance.

...and I happened to be married to a Belinda as well!

Ahh, I see. But you failed to factor in Belinda was "popular" into the 90's and obviously still loved by men of all ages.

You are forgiven for your foolishness :)

Dress was "ok" but didn't show any cleavage. Must be a deduction for that no matter how we love our Belinda

And you're forgiven for trying to fudge your age. ;)

See, I added points for showing off her soft shoulders.

Not to those who love Belinda, good Sir.

She wins; we all win.

On the contrary- any bimbo that wants to spend a few thou can have cleavage. Not everyone has nice soft shoulders. There's a fine line between hardbody shoulders and fat shoulders. Belinda is right there. Very feminine. Very pretty.

I believe that of which you speak is all natural.

She had groupies, back in the day.

We made $125.00 per week and and were given vouchers for three meals a day.

Mrs. Green, Be advised that besmirching Belinda is a sacrilege. You are forgiven, for now.

I like Belinda's music as much as the next guy but she looked really stiff on the dance floor. Also, she looked like she's had plastic surgery that didn't come out very natural looking.

I _am_ surprised that she didn't make it over the Woz though.

So sad that she's had work done. Must erase image and go back in time to 80s, keeping it in amber.
