...but I was already a stick!
Same here -- when I was commuting. Weight dropped from 210 to 185 in 4 months.
Me too! over 30 pounds in about 4 months simply by biking twice per day! And I ate just about anything I wanted. Let's write a book. Maybe we can even get on Oprah!
Oh wait, our diet plan involves exercise, which means most people will not even consider it. That's a shame.
Hey guys, quick question for you all. What kind of distances are we talking about for your commutes? I live about a 12 miles from work, so it wouldn't be too bad of a ride (the only problem is the traffic..nto a good direct route to commute)
Thanks!

That's the rub ain't it? I commute 2x a day, and eat ALL DAY LONG because I'm just so darn hungry! Anything I want. . . and I even lose weight that I want, but can't regain. 174 lbs to 167 and I can't seem to get it back. I may have to resort to more weight lifting or something.
You'd think that would have people clamoring for the secret: I eat anything I want, whenever I want and lose weight. Small Print: Requires one to get off their lazy ass... er, wait, get your lazy ass out of a car and onto a bike, yeah that's it!
I'm 5' 7". I used to weigh 142.
After 6 months of biking, I now weigh 148.
Gained 6 pounds, lost 4 notches on my belt.
Tighter stomach means it expands less and I can't eat a lot at a single sitting anymore. It's like I had my stomach stapled. The more I need to eat, the less I can.
It's like the ultimate obese person's dream and my most horrible nightmare! :)
Maybe you should be trying to add notches to your bedpost rather than losing them from your belts.

For me, about 9-10 miles in the morning (as hard as I can push), then about 10-15 in the afternoon to avoid traffic (taking it a little slower). When I really dropped the weight I was occasionally putting in a 20+ miler in the afternoons, one day per week.

I don't get it :(

notches in the bedpost represent how many women you've slept with and is a way some men keep score.
