Today, I picked up an old 3-speed but I've never heard of the maker and I'd like to know more about it. It's a West-end. The head badge reads:

It's got a brooks saddle, a 1950 Sturmey-Archer hub, and "G.B. Sport" Hiduminium British made brakes. I'm not sure what's original as there are also Schwinn grips on the bars.
The frame is lugged steel with what I think is an aluminum cap of some sort over the fork crown. The chainstays and seat stays also have a ridge along them. The brake bridge is not drilled for a brake; it has a hole but it runs vertically--for a fender, I'm guessing. The rear brake was attached with a piece of wood mounted in between the seatstays(I'm assuming the previous owner did this).
I'll post a few pictures when I get the chance on Monday. Any information you have would be great. Thanks.
UPDATE: took some quick pictures. I'll get better/more shots outside when I get home from work. As you can see, it's in pretty rough condition. The stem is from my parts bin--the one on it had a stripped bolt and some rust, but it's almost identical.
