I would consider that price to be "full market". So if it is what you are looking for, in the right size, go for it.

Realize that new steel touring bikes are around $1000 and up.

If you are patient and want to spend some serious time looking, you probably could do better. Bike in this ad looks to be in really nice condition, other than the dorky lights.

The one in LA on the JAX list looks really sweet.
