Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Hey guys, so I've been lurking around here and occasionally posting, but now I need your help. I'm doing this MS150 ride, which is 150 miles over two days (105 the first day, 45 the second), and supports research for MS. I'm doing it with the AzFixed team, and we got jerseys and all that jazz. The thing is, I gotta raise $250, and I have $170 right now. The ride is in less than two weeks (March 28-29), and I've pretty much exhausted all my resources for raising money. So if anyone would be willing to donate anything, that would be great. No donation is too little, so thanks!

Also, if you wanna donate but you don't have/want to use a credit card, you can just do this. Sign into your paypal account. Click "PayPal Plug-In" on the left side of the screen. Go to "Secure Cards", and click "Generate Card". It will generate a credit card number, cvv2, and expiration date. You can then use that info as a MasterCard Credit Card, but it will charge your paypal.
Thanks again guys, I can't wait to ride four times farther than I ever have.

I was actually going to make a post just like this today, because I'm considering attempting the whole 150 miles on my fixed gear!

Alex, I just made a contribution on your page.
Good luck, and be sure to tell us how it goes. That's a big distance on a fixed gear! Is it going to be hilly? Hot?
rode it fixed. good times.

Thanks noglider, and I think it's mostly flat, but there is at least one hilly section. The guys who did it last year said it wasn't hot, hopefully it stays the same. Props to the other guys doing it fixed, there are like 20 of us here doing it together.

I want to ride but there's no way I can raise $250.

I don't think its that high here in my town, but the ride also isn't until September.
My area is hilly as ****, so I'm expecting to have to walk up a couple hills and I'm definitely going to need a front brake too. Should be a good time though. I'm trying to get my dad to do it fixed.

I thought I couldn't, but I'm pretty close. It also depends on how much time you have, I only started raising money a month or so before the ride, I could have gotten more if I had joined earlier.
you do know that you can do the ride without raising the whole $250? hell, i've done it for two years in socal without registering at all. it's a fun ride.

they'll usually send you a letter asking for the rest of the donation but they don't bug you about it.
would you like a donation?

Ah, I didn't know what would happen if I didn't raise it all. But I gotta help my team out!
na975, yes, yes I would.

I rode the MS150 last year. First day was single speed and the second day I used my two-speed coaster rear wheel. Very fun. Good luck!
