Hi Guys,

Something of a poll here.

I've been accused of "being as ignorant as I am rude"

While I don't think I am particularly rude, I greatly resent the ignorant part.

So I would appreciate it if you could all tell me I am far ruder than I am ignorant.

Here's your chance at self expression :)

Is it rude or ignorant that you posted this in General Cycling rather than Foo where these kind of posts belong?

Well, gee...didn't you read the title ?

Shouldn't you decide that ?

What's 'Foo' ?

Never claimed to be observant or particularly clever.

Foo (http://www.bikeforums.net/forumdisplay.php?f=199) is the off topic sub-forum.

Ignorant:
▸ adjective: lacking information or knowledge
▸ adjective: lacking basic knowledge

What is it you think you know, but someone else thinks you don't know?

Apparently it's "common practice" for guys to twist their saddle to one side to make room for their todger when they are cycling.

And also I haven't had enough decades of experience to be aware of this.

No, not really. :)

Greetings,

The tenor of your posts in general suggests you are a lonely person looking for attention; in short, a troll. As the original poster who suggested that a SLIGHTLY cocked saddle is normal for men, I might suggest you just try it and take a short spin. It is normal, and as another poster suggested, you are only making a fool of yourself by denying it.

Oh! I see you're posting from England! Never mind. People with functioning genitalia already know this! You might check across the Irish Sea to see what I mean. Erin go braugh and happy St. Patrick's Day!

If you can argue with someone without being demeaning or resorting to name calling (see ex-smoker thread) your OK by me.

Now, of course folks have already started calling you names in this thread (troll) and so the name calling will probably continue. Calling someone a troll is the least imaginative, most cliched response in any forum.

Well, to be fair I did say "So I would appreciate it if you could all tell me I am far ruder than I am ignorant" and I didn't say there would be bonus points for originality.

I don't mind name calling and it's very hard to be upset with someone who feels it necessary to follow you around to do so, especially when they can't spell "physciatrist" kind of takes the sting out of the insult :D

Is it really necessary to post a thread in a completely different subforum over a difference of opinion? Move past it, and acscribe the difference to individual differences. I don't really care who's right or who's wrong on it, I just think there's no need for the drama.
