General Cycling Discussion - Am I as ignorant as I am rude ?

Hi Guys,

Something of a poll here.

I've been accused of "being as ignorant as I am rude"

While I don't think I am particularly rude, I greatly resent the ignorant part.

So I would appreciate it if you could all tell me I am far ruder than I am ignorant.

Apparently it's "common practice" for guys to twist their saddle to one side to make room for their todger when they are cycling.

And also I haven't had enough decades of experience to be aware of this.

The tenor of your posts in general suggests you are a lonely person looking for attention; in short, a troll. As the original poster who suggested that a SLIGHTLY cocked saddle is normal for men, I might suggest you just try it and take a short spin. It is normal, and as another poster suggested, you are only making a fool of yourself by denying it.

Now, of course folks have already started calling you names in this thread (troll) and so the name calling will probably continue. Calling someone a troll is the least imaginative, most cliched response in any forum.

Well, I read your stuff on light mods, so ignorant? Not on all counts. (I'd like to try to make one of these,but no idea where to get these supplies) An asset to the NG? Well, to be fair I did say "So I would appreciate it if you could all tell me I am far ruder than I am ignorant" and I didn't say there would be bonus points for originality.

I don't mind name calling and it's very hard to be upset with someone who feels it necessary to follow you around to do so, especially when they can't spell "physciatrist" kind of takes the sting out of the insult :D

Is it really necessary to post a thread in a completely different subforum over a difference of opinion? Move past it, and acscribe the difference to individual differences. I don't really care who's right or who's wrong on it, I just think there's no need for the drama.
