I have searched and searched for an explanation on how seatpost setback is measured. For example, when the Easton EA70 seatpost specifications say "25mm setback", where is that measured? Center of tube to center of clamp? Center of tube to front edge of clamp? Or does it depend on the manufacturer?

I don't have an answer, but I share your frustration. Setback is a critical measure and it's not even listed in catalogs. All I can do is eyeball the picture.
