At the risk of re-creating historical conflict, here's Raleigh's take on green bikes:

1985 Raleigh Portage in green:

I don't own a green bike, well I do have a Trek 770 in that classic Trek Green but the
paint is 1/2 stripped and not something I'd show anyone right now.
I am wearing green pants though.

Happy St. Paddy's day y'all.

And if you do, stay off the bicycle.

Welcome back!

The picture of the Raleigh Superbe in the catalog (bronze-green) looks much better than mine - which is out in the carport. I'll have to sneak out to get a shamrock shake to celebrate this afternoon.

I'll have another reason to celebrate tomorrow - another Raleigh, but it's not green.

I always heard it was unlucky to have a green motorcycle, just assumed it was the same for all two wheelers.

Wow, of all the bikes I own, which is quite a bit, I have not one green bike. Lots of grey, some red, a few orange, one or two white, but no green? How did that happen? Oh well, the green Cannondale rack bag on my Gran Turismo will have to suffice. Sorry:D.,,,,BD

Well, I don't have a green bike but I did find it ironic that yesterday (St. Patrick's Day) was the first day of the year that I went out on my Miyata and I happened to find a bar very close to my house that I didn't know was there.
