My wife bought me the T2+Cobra Profile Design aero bars for Christmas and Sunday was the first opportunity I had to ride with them. WOW. I didn't know what I have been missing all these years. Out here in West Texas where a 20 mile an hour head wind is a breeze, it was great to hunker down and just pedal. I'm still quite uncomfortable reaching for a bottle or shifting gears (I still have drop bars), but hopefully it will get better (however, my balance has never been good). I'm going today to get officially fit by my bike shop.

Terrific! Like anything else, it just takes practice. You'll get the hang of it.

I had the same feeling when I put my (regular) T2+ bars on - so comfortable! It seems like it'd take a bit of getting used to the balance, but seems well worth it. Unfortunately I ended up taking mine off because I was getting lots of headshake when I let go of the bars.

Score one for adequate spoke tension. Bumping the front up from ~60 to 100kgf did the trick - no more headshake!
