Atta boy Robbie!

Can't see it on telly here... how'd that sprint go down, anyway? Peta get stuck behind some traffic? Was McEwen able to stay in a straight line? ;)

In the last kilo, the train died. When the last Fasso rider saw that Peta wasn't in sight, he pulled off, and everything went to hell. No organization. When the Fasso rider pulled off, McEwen was in front, but he let up and then pulled back in line in 2nd or 3rd, and bursted out to the lead off of the final corner, with about 250meters left. I think he started a bit early, but still was able to get it, barely.

Peta got pushed against the railing by a teammate. That was it for him.

Bunch sprints never fail to give me goosebumps. Simple insanity. I never had that kind of courage.

It's humorous how the Italian sprinters seem to collapse when their big trains come off the rails. Sometimes it's good to see the lonedog win, even if he is a baddog.

Ruff Robbie!
