I have a frame builder helping me extend my Surly Long Haul Trucker steerer tube but don't have vernier calipers, does any one know the exact ID measurement of the steerer in decimal inch please. Thickness as well. He said to just take a set of calipers to the inside of the steer tube and measure at its widest point with no burs.
