What kindof tag is that for a NYC Yellow cab? I've only ever seen the 4 digit medallions. Anyone know what's up with this one?

(No, he didn't do anything wrong. I just found the medallion number intriguing).

Did the plate match the hack # on the roof? Did the front and rear plates match? Could've been a cop.

I thought of that, but it didn't look like the unmarked / camo cops. He had a fare in the back.

And the number was repeated on the car in vinyl decals.
