This isn't really a question, just sharing choices with my virtual friends.
One of the many good things about living where I live at the moment is proximity to adventures - for example, Mrs Delightful and I are just back from skiing in Lebanon over the weekend. And in mid April we have another trip planned over a week. Number 1 boy child will be joining us - fit and strong Geology student, who spends his weekends with a military "Officers Training Corps" having fit and strong adventures in the mountains, who doesn't accept that I'm supposed to the the fit guy in the family!!!
So, we're going to Kathmandu. (You music fellows can all join in now with some discordant Bob Seegar. Good, I'm glad that's all out of the way).
One of the things we'll do there is some mountain biking. We have a choice between 'ride yourself somewhere high and then bounce down' or 'get jeeped up and then bounce down'
I favour choice former. Everyone else favours choice secondary - 'It's supposed to be a holiday'!!
Both will be great. I'll follow up with pictures from whichever choice we make
