Someone is selling a vintage dutch Union bicycle in my area for $150. I have no idea what these go for. The seller says it's in very good condition, but I haven't seen it yet and don't have any photos. From his description, I'd guess it's about 20-30 years old. Provided it's in good condition, what is a rough estimate of what a fair price would be?

Hard to give an estimate without any knowledge of components or frame tubing material.
Almost every Union bike I've seen has been a low to mid end bike. I have seen one or two
better Unions made, they were built with Reynolds tubing and had components to match the
frame quality. Union has been around a long time, Started in 1904 and closed about 2005.
I'd say one of the low to mid level bikes should be no more than $50.
And a good condition Reynolds 531 bike with campy components about $150 - $200 (depending on
components, i.e. if valentino less, if N.Record more).

Thanks for the answers. The seller said he would e-mail a photo to me in the next day or two. I'll post it when I get it. Hopefully, that will help.
But it does sound like 150 is too high.

I received photos from the seller. It's not nearly as nice as the seller claimed and has lots of rust. So I'm going to look elsewhere.
Thanks again for your help!
