For < $50 you can get the Gold package which gets you pretty much everything (except the TdF). That's less that one month of cable TV to get the Versus channel.
Will we ever have HD quality cycling coverage? Is there some sort of physical/technical limitation with motorcycle cameras being able to capture HD quality footage and transmit it "live" back to the truck or wherever it goes?

Not anymore. Hell they have lipstick size HD cams in every car on the track of NASCAR these days. Even if they're just up-converts the quality is spectacular. When VS. upconverts to their HD channel it's leaps and bounds better than their standard def channel. Certainly saw that in last years TDF. I'd LOVE true HD but I'll settle for a nice, 16x9 up-convert.

Does cycling tv keep thing around for a few days to watch? Can you watch the MSR on Sunday if you miss it?

Silverlight is compatible with Windows, Mac, hell I can even watch it on my Ubuntu machine at home.
