I heard from someone today that some of hte roads on Mt. Tam - specifically on the Alpine Dam/Seven Sisters loop - were closed for the winter. Anybody know if that's true?

They were doing some work on the road that climbs out of the lake towards Ridgecrest but I don't know if they completed it or not. The last time I was there, you were able to easily go around the chained road barrier and continue on to the sisters.

They've finished the construction on Ridgecrest and it is now open again.
