Long story short, I had minor toe surgery to remove part of an ingrown toenail. They numbes up by toe and hacked it away. Now, the anesthetic is wearing off, and it hurts like ****. I'm currently taking aspirin, as it's all I've got for it. Not helping much at all. Can't sleep because of the pain. Does anyone have some home remedies for this? What's the best way to deal with the pain?

If you can, try not to move your foot around to much. Ive had so many ingrown toenails removed i lost count, and for me it seems that every time the anesthetic wears off that much faster. Also, try to stay off it as much as possible. I know when I had my last one done, I had to go to class right after....which meant a lot of walking. By the time I reached my class, which wasn't very far from where I parked, I was in some intense pain and ended up leaving for the day even though I had like 3 other classes that day. My best advice is to stay off of it as much as possible. Oh yea, and aspirin has never helped for me...

call your doctor for pain meds....if it hurts that bad you should be at home, with meds, with your foot up

Put some ice on it for temporary relief.
