Anyone else riding this?
There's also the Spring Fever ride in Sulphur Springs...

Made it over there, rode the ride with about a thousand of my best friends, made it back. Tired but in once piece. Very well organized ride, I thought.
I like to see what's different at these things. I think I spotted three tandems. Zero recumbents. One kid trailer. One fixie. (I don't normally notice fixies, except the rider was trackstanding in the parking lot- that's him in the middle of the last picture.)

I made it out too. Overall, a great ride. Weather was perfect, many of the roads were smooth with little traffic and it was very well supported...flaggers at the intersections to stop traffic, every turn marked, and good rest stops.
Here are a few pics:

Scenery looks great! I'm putting this one on the list for next year, my dad lives near lake Palestine so I have no excuse not to ride this one. Is this a new event, I've never heard of it before? I was up there last March and a LBS in Tyler said there were no rides happening that month. They gave me a few routes which were great, but they didn't say anything about this ride.

It's a regular ride, but was canceled last year due to some sort of problem with their start point (which I think was a local college). I assume it will be on next year as well.
