"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - Colavita Ohio TT series starts Saturday 3/21

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hopefully you already know, the Colavita Ohio Time Trail series starts Saturday 3/21. New 9 am start time should get some more travelers. Rudy, Hammer, and Colavita have loaded them with tons of freebies, plus there is a new start house and elite class this year. Weather looks cool, but sunny. Should be a great start for the season. Course is a 20K out and back, no stops and single turnaround.

how does the fixed gear class work? the flyer says no aero wheels, so does that mean everything else is game? aero bars/helmet/skinsuit/etc. are allowed?

I don't know, email Roger and see. Seems like there are never more then a couple fixed gear bikes.

Last year there was a guy in the fixed gear class on a pursuit bike with full aero gear. The "standard" class is the one with all the rules, except that the guy who won it yesterday wore a skinsuit and that was permitted.
