"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - aero advantage

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

As I ponder another handful of races this year, I can't help but wonder what I can do to finally beat little Sally, the girl on the Barbie bike with the streamers who rides on the sidewalk alongside the RATL course.
I could do intervals, but I am too lazy.
I could loose weight, but I like to eat too much.
I could buy a new carbon fiber wonder...a RED one, but the economy sucks.
So I'm thinking I can get more aero. Of course my gut gets in the way of back going any more than a 90 degree angle to the ground...so I need to get more aero without having to reduce my wind profile.
I'm thinking of buying a skin suit and doing Botox....whaddya all think?

Skin suit will squeeze you too much causing large bulges in the midsection, which is less aero. Botox will smooth out the wrinkles so the flow of air will be a bit more laminar, so that may work.

How about a corset?

Elizabeth Taylor recommended dysentery as a diet plan. A number of the women at work have had surgery so they could eat just as much but lose weight. The first one lost about 80 pounds, and then it was a rush to sign up for the procedure.
just sit up and think of the gut as a "body fairing". instant aero justification for eating some more.

I think you should focus on the important stuff. Like the difference between 'loose' and lose.

Tapeworms are also very effective, but hard to get rid of after you reach your desired weight.
