YST (GeForce) headset = $20
Why YST? Aheadset makes alot better for only a few bucks more.... Maybe same price on sale.

Thanks for all your info. I just got a 2nd-hand bike and was trying to access the cost. I know I should have done my homework first. Anyway, I got it at $75 Singapore dollars which is approx. US$45. To answer seely's ?iIt came with YST CS-568e head set. This is my new hobby, so, I'm new to it and trying to learn about it.

An afforable, decent set of cantilever brakes and levers should cost about US$40-60. The seat is a whole different affair then just cost, as you need to get one that you like. You could find a good seat for as little as US$15.
