Looking for advice on my first cyclocross bike (all I have now is an old mtn bike).
I'm 6'3" and skinny.
Deciding between Trek X01, Fuji Cross Comp, and Kona Jake The Snake.
Trek X01 is $200 more than the other two.

I saw one comment that the Kona Jake The Snake sizing is a bit awkward for a tall person, is that true?
Anyone have any experience on the others.

Felt F35X could be another choice, but their biggest frame is 59cm.

Thanks.

Where'd you hear that about Kona? They have 2 super tall racers on their roster (Trebon and Wicks) who both ride stock size frames as far as I know.

At your height and above, it's all about the fit, so find a shop that's willing to actually get one of the large size bikes in the store for you to ride and go from there.

A review on roadbikereview has a weakness:

Weaknesses:
Sloping top tube, this is a weekness for me because I am 6'4" tall and I don't like to run 12" of seat post on a 60 cm frame. Probably not an issue for 99% of people buying this frame.

Good to hear other tall bikers use this bike though. That review was from Jan08. Maybe he just needed the 62cm frame.
