i didnt pay attention as i went by, i thought the gate was open though. sorry, when i dropped down the back side, there were lots of cars on the street, not sure of the street name.

Looks like a great route. I love the history of Mt. Rubidoux (only one U.S. President has visited that landmark) and the nearby Mission Inn. Lately, I've been considering doing a S240 to Jurupa Regional but I'm way unsure of the area's activity at night. Do you have knowledge of any problems at night with this park?

S240 to Jurupa Regional ?, it that is the time trial, then just show up early am to fairmount park. there will probably be other riders and or teams TTing and staying, so there should be security.

Excellent! It's about time they re-opened it. I hated having to park across the street at the bridge to ride in the area. An S240 (sub-24-hour) is actually a overnight bike camp trip. I was curious about the night time activity at Jurupa Regional. Things like rowdiness, transients, zombies :P .....

which one of these parks? http://www.riversidecountyparks.org/locations/regional-parks/ rancho jurupa is the only one that has overnite camping. there use to be a lake in there but the have redone it recently, and i didnt see the lake when i pit stopped for the bathroom and water break. it seems to be a nice place, trailers, tents, campers, moterhomes. etc......
