Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

This isn't the one I hope to shoot from a moving car overtaking the bike--just one I shot in the backyard tonight. Make sure you read the final screen!!

If you watch that while listening to Dark Side of the Moon they totally synch together...
The lens cover was on for which light?
Also, it appears that there are two or three different sets of lights, and at only one time is there one light that is above the other. That would be the PBSF?

The lens cover on the camera was closed. I was amazed at the amount of light that made it through.
And you're correct--the PBSF was sitting above the Vettas. It's on for the opening few frames, and then one of the Vettas kick in.

TY for your efforts. I would recommend if possible a night shot of both with the lens cap off.
I have a Vetta and love it. I just got back from my night ride. Using this forum and learning from so many here, I have outfitted myself to the point that I am very comfortable with night riding.
Of course, in addition to lights, a vest, alternative low traffic streets and general safe riding procedures all make for a great night ride experience.
I would recommend my set up for general small city riding, the Vetta tailight, Vetta helmet light, a P7 flashlight with spoke lights as well. This is my second generation of lights and I am planning the third generation with the Dionette being a keystone to the rear with the Vetta used as backup.
