How do you transfer a route from Bikely.com to the 705?
I downloaded a .gpx file from Bikely and I tried to open it in MapSource, but I got an error message saying that it wasn't a valid Mapsource file.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

When I attach my Garmin to my computer, it shows up as a couple of removable hard drives. One drive is for the SD Map card and the other is for routes and training data. The drive you want is the one with a Garmin folder that contains a Courses folder. I drop GPX files in the Courses folder and they then show up under the "Saved Rides" menu under the "Where To?" menu.

I save the .gpx to my desktop. Then I'll put it into my Garmin/history file. Works everytime. Make sure though, that when you create a ride that you click "follow road" when mapping it out. If your line misses the road, your Garmin doesn't know wtf is going on. I never download someone elses route. I will copy it myself.
