Great Lakes - Family bike ride

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

We (myself, wife, 5yo daughter) are thinking of doing a family bike ride on the Elroy-Sparta Trail (WI). This is a rails to trails path about 32 miles long. Rails to trails => no hills.
It would be a slow paced ride ~10mph with stopping and shopping in various towns along the path.
Thinking about a July weekend.
Anyone interested?
I've been thinking this may be the year to take the kids up for their first ride on the trail . . .
I was thinking about going up and camping in Wilton the weekend of July 31-Aug 2 -- its their annual Wood Turtle Days (parade, fireworks, the Lion's club used to have a pancake breakfast - assume they still do, etc.) -- although the wife is kinda down on the camping part.
No formal plans yet, so let's talk . . .
Anyone else?

Sounds good but I start working weekends again after the 4th of July, so I'm out.

Tentatively planning a vacation (Disney World) beginning the first weekend in August.
Was thinking the second or third weekend in July. We would be camping also, but most don't consider a travel trailer as camping :)
Anybody ever stay at the Leon Valley Campground near Sparta?
