your expectation that Contador is a better time trialist than Leipheimer, especially on a course as windy as the one they raced, is juvenile.

Contador seems to go out too hard quite a bit. He did that in Beijing too.

That was factored into the in-depth scientific analysis of your erroneous conclusion and my mature response.

Tommeke Danielson beat Vande Velde. I guess he plans to spoil my fun this year.

What do you add here? You should quit the board.

What do you add here? You should quit the board.

Why are you so obsessed with people quitting bicycle racing and forums? How does their presence threaten you? The implication here is actually that you perceive yourself a threat to yourself.

That's whacked.

But strangely fascinating.

I had a cabinet delaminate once.

That's better than your cardiovascular system delaminating at the back of a bike race.

Gary thinks TTs are stupid and that all TTers are Total Freds. Of course he thinks that about every cycling endeavor outside of the races that he personally participates in, so bear that in mind. I don't argue with him anymore, he wins too many friggin races.

Like I said to him in my email, that would be tugging on Superman's Cape.

In the masters catagory they are called vitamins.

L'Equipe printed that I was positive for BTO (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9-R9S1m4dA&feature=related).

Considering he didn't crack the top ten times of our local P1/2 field, my guess is it's one of those early season things that doesn't mean a whole lot in the bigger picture. Sort of like...

You are answering your own questions on BF. Just like I do sometimes. I've seen one or two other members doing this.

It's working.

Then I'd guess some portion of NY's 35+ is on One A Day EPO. And our boy g still crushes them even though the only thing he's on is his bicycle. 2-4 hours every day on those rollers. When you train as hard as he does, it gives you an unfair advantage.

Let me think about this. I pay substantial money to ride in races that are far over my head, require me to get up @ 3:45AM, pay a $33 entry fee, freeze my ass off, and risk my health @ 30mph in the dark.

Obviously.

Nice video version of the BTO tune. Ironically (in the context of your post) Bachman is a Mormon and during the heyday of his rock'n roll career did not smoke, drink or take drugs and discouraged other members of the band from doing such things. He was also a high school drop out and is still one of the great RnR guitar innovators!

I barely graduated high

Huh?

whoa. head rush.

What was I saying?

BTO ROCKS!

Had no idea. That must have taken a pretty significant amount of moral courage. Didn't realize he played with GF either until I looked at some of the videos.

Yep - I'm no racer (weak promoter and weaker official and even weaker rider) but I do listen to BTO and TGW when I sweat like a pig on the indoor trainer. Bachman's guitar on "American Woman" is one of the best ever!
