Just finished my first century....on a track bike, no less...I can already tell my metabolism is up...
I'm needing lots of small meals throughout the day...
For instance, its Monday morning, finished my century on Saturday night, 7:00PM...
At 9:00AM I had a small bowl of cereal, two oat bran english muffins, a glass of oj, a vitamin, and its not even 11AM and Im hungry!!!
Ive been a chef for last 6 years, and I really didnt eat much, and gained some weight. Now, Im slimming down, and I swear Im starting to eat a lot!
Last night for dinner, at around 7:30 or so, I had brocolli, wild rice, and tilapia. I was reasonably full. 2 hours later, I was hungry, and ate some string cheese and yogurt.
Might this be an increase in metabolism, or am I still recovering from my first 100 miler, on a track bike no less?????
thanks, randy
