posted in the wrong place, but still, I'd say its not worth too much. Maybe $100 as it is.

its not completely original. the handlebars, brake levers, and crankset are all new.

1. Clean it up and get it in ready to ride condition: cables, tires, tubes, grease bearings, and so on.

2. Do a nice job on your marketing wherever you choose to sell it.

3. As is you would be hard pressed to get $100 for it around here.

4. Consider putting original parts back on, and then sell the new parts separately.

5. Make sure seat post is not stuck.

Clean, with original parts, ready to ride, $125 to $150, depending on condition of frame and paint and where you are located.

Correction: Are the rims alloy? I am assuming they are, if not, cleaned up the bike would top out at $100.

I have sold two Carbolite Peugeots in the last six months, really clean ones, for the price range I mentioned above. Both had alloy rims.

Actually it is ready to ride, cables were replaced a year ago, and last fall i replaced the tires and tubes.

Only bad news is that i replaced the bars and crankset when i was younger and not very knowledgable of the vintage bike scene, and threw the original parts away :notamused:

However nothing on this bike is crap, only the wheels need trueing up, seatpost, and bearings are all in great condish, is there a place that sells reprinted stickers???

I wouldnt worry about decals but what I would do, as mentioned earlier is clean it up and spit shine it.

Get it ready to sell....properly position the seat, bars and brake levers. Put pedals on it even if they're $5 WalMart specials. Remove those headtube stickers. Slide the brake levers up the bars more, they look like they're falling off.

Two Peugeots, one on CL, one by word of mouth, in similar condition, similar size, similar models, sold in the Raleigh area for $60 to $70 each within the last month. That's what they fetch around here.
