Folding Bikes - Giant Clip bike

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hey - I recently came across some pics of a Giant Clip, which I'd never heard of before.
It's kind of sexy.
There is a derth of info about it online (like, uh, weight?)... anyone here got one, got proper specs or pics from more than one angle? I'd love more info, even though they don't seem to be available in Canada.

Here are some pics (not mine):

Other than noting its existence, I haven't seen anyone here mention that they own it. It does look interesting.
Hopefully someone who has seen one will pop in one day to tell us about it!
In the meantime - a pdf flyer thing for the Clip that shows someone riding it:

and another spec sheet... no new info, but some other colours: http://edenbicycles.com/merchant/364/files/CLIP_dealer_sheet%202.pdf
I really looks like a paper clip. Seriously.

Hi Guys,
I rode one of these yesterday at Eden Bicycles (Castro Valley, CA). It rode very well, similar to my Swift folder. The ride seemed a little more relaxed than my Swift, although the tires on the bike I rode could have used a little more air pressure.
It is a clever design; the frame is essentially "one-sided" with a single fork leg and single chain and seat stay. This allows the folded width to be 14". The seat post has a spring loaded center stand that pops out when you lower the seat post into the frame. There is a clip arrangement on the free end of the axles to hold the bike together. There is a welded on side-stand mount with a tapped hole in case you didn't want to use the center stand.
Price: $980.00
I wanted to get some other rider experiences from this group, but it appears the bike is too new...

I posted a picture of a folded Clip that was for sale at Avon Valley Cyclery (http://www.bikeshop.uk.com/980/Giant-Clip-.html) back in January. Priced at £600 :thumb:

Saw the Clip at my LBS. It was cute, and the seat-post stand thingie was cool, but the rest of the bike was underwhelming.
Can't remember if it was heavy, but it wasn't particularly light.
The thing that put me off most was the seat post - telescoping, but still *way* too short for me to ride. Definitely wouldn't fit anyone even moderately tall.
It seemed solid in the way that the Halfway does, and it looks fun, but I quickly lost interest in it.
