Is the bike business immune to the downturn ?

Gorgeous object d' art but at $575 a pair thats more than some people spend on an entire fixie. Yes that is real gold plating.

I don't care much about the gold plated version, but the regular high-flange Phil hubs are hot.

Nice hubs...

How about a carbon saddle to compliment the hubs?

SELLE ITALIA SLR C64 With the SLR, Selle Italia has pioneered the very latest concepts in lightness and performance. The rail of carbon and the shell in carbon composite make this saddle with the laminar profile a cult object among athletes. Thanks to it's total use of carbon the SLR C64 weights in at an extraordinary 76g.

$599.95

Oooh! I need some of them for the Tokyo, but in gold leaf.
