only 3000??!?

Jezzz...looking at your choices, Norco 6 and the Kona Stinky...im guessing you are looking for an entry free ride bike. I too am in the market for one. I really liked riding Speciailzied Demo 9 and 03 Big Hit. They are some really fine bikes. But take the time to shop around to make a really justified purchase. Look into Santa Cruz, Rocky Mountain also..they make very good bikes.

As Killer said, the bikes you mentioned are freeride oriented. Which do you want? A dh bike or a freeride bike?

I may have a StabPrimo frame in excelent shape you could buy for 650$ and you could use the rest to build it up.

Then go to www.wheelworld.com and buy their Freeride build kit, (fork included) and you'll have one KILLER BIKE!

How much money do you tend to save when you buy a build kit?

It depends, the stuff they have there is a great package for the price. Mosty because it includes the fork. Most build kits will save you about 20% off of MSRP.

I've had pretty good luck with WheelWorld and have bought several items from them. Their shipping is usually a bit higher, but usually you save more overall so it's still a good deal.

In this case, a lot. The z1 is worth 500 american I would guess. The rest of the parts easily come to that. Man if I only needed a whole kit haha.

I need to start a shop up here out of my house. I could make a killing. :)
