Mountain - Plains - BRAN...Anyone doing training other than indoors???

I'm going to do my first BRAN this year and I started last week doing training for it. I've been commuting to work all winter - minus a month or two due to colds.

So I'm wondering if there is anyone doing any training for the BRAN here in Omaha? If so, when/where are you doing your training?

I'm doing my own training here in Western Nebraska. Just a lot of long, long rides (60 miles) with some hill repeats at the end.

What parts of western Nebraska? I went to college and worked in Chadron for a few years. Enjoyed doing mountain biking out there.

Weather has been really poor here and I haven't been able to keep up with the training schedule, but I've been getting a few days in here and there.
